As an innovative agricultural service provider, we always offer you the best technology and the most efficient service. That's why we are delighted to present our latest acquisition: the Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC baler with Bale Collect collection wagon. With this state-of-the-art baler, we can make your straw harvesting even more efficient. Find out here what advantages and innovative functions the new baler offers you.

Maximum bale density and reduced bale loads

Our Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC baler processes straw, hay and silage into square bales measuring 120 cm wide, 90 cm high and 1 m to 3.2 m long. Thanks to the Krone high-density baling system, we achieve up to 25% higher bale weights compared to conventional systems. What this means for you:

    • Less bale loads: The higher baling density results in fewer bales.
Fewer passes:
The lower number of bales reduces the necessary movement in the field.
  • Lower transport costs: Less bales also mean less transportation.
  • Reduced storage space requirement: The higher bale weights lead to a lower storage requirement.
  • High stability and easier handling: The high bale density makes the bales easier to stack and gives them greater stability.

With a weight of up to 550 kg per bale (at 2.4 m in length), we achieve optimum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Time and cost-saving use thanks to bale collection system

The integrated collection wagon system (BaleCollect) on the Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC enables us to collect up to three square bales simultaneously and deposit them at predefined points in the field. The targeted placement location minimizes unnecessary field movements, which reduces soil compaction and saves valuable time. Your bales can therefore be loaded and transported away more quickly - a great advantage for your efficiency.

Precise bale data and optimum moisture control

In order to ensure the highest quality, the weight, moisture and placement location of each individual bale is recorded digitally during harvesting with our new baler. Moisture is measured directly inside the bale using the star wheel principle, which enables a much more accurate measurement than conventional systems. This ensures that the maximum moisture level is always kept under control. Bales that are too moist can be sorted out directly. This significantly reduces the risk of fungal infestation - a problem that is often only discovered when the damage is already extensive.

Excellent cutting quality for firm short straw

With the VariCut cutting unit, which comprises up to 51 knives, our baler can produce short straw with a minimum chop length of 22 mm. The cutting quality is of the utmost importance here: short straw is ideal for use as feed or bedding.

Shred-free knots

Firmly compressed straw bales require secure knotting of the twines. The innovative V-knotter ensures this. With its new knotting technology, no more twine shreds are released

Precise dosing of silage additives/preservatives

Another innovative feature of our baler is the integrated silage additive system. This enables precise dosing of the silage additive/preservative based on the measured moisture and weight. Your advantage: The use of silage additives can be targeted and cost-effective. This means that your bales always receive the optimum quantity, which increases the quality and shelf life of the feed and avoids unnecessary costs.

P.S. We use the natural salt RaicoSil® for the preservation of straw and hay.

Tires that protect the soil

Field cultivation that protects the soil is of great importance, as reduced soil compaction improves root formation and prevents waterlogging. Thanks to the large tires of the Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP VC, we can guarantee a soil-friendly harvest and thus cultivate your fields sustainably.

Less transportation effort and costs

The reduced number of bale loads and targeted placement points result in significantly less transportation and therefore lower costs. The field is free for further processing more quickly and transport routes are minimized. This means less use of machinery and personnel - a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

With the introduction of the Krone BiG Pack 1290 HD PVC baler, we can offer you an even more efficient and cost-effective solution for your straw and hay harvest. Get in touch with us to find out how you can benefit from the advantages of our new baler!
